… and you’ll get to the Third Rock From The Sun.
Or at least you will if you follow the directions given by the Channel 4 continuity announcer for the last hundred or so episodes of that classic sci-fi sitcom. Actually, it depends which direction you’re coming from. Heading in from the other way, you’d need to take a right at Mars.
Anyway, it’s not often you get the chance to see an entire run of every single episode of anything. Usually you’d have to fork out loads of money for boxed sets and the like. so well done C4 for immersing us in so much culture for the past few weeks. Just one episode left, to be aired on Monday. Can’t wait 🙂
Favourite episode? Too many to count. Inevitably the occasional dud, but the series has stood the test of time remarkably well. Impossible to pick a fave character too, as they all worked so well together.
We shall miss this little unit of hapless aliens. We sincerely hope that Officer Don’s new venture into running a muffin shop was a resounding success.
One thing I probably shan’t live down though (so I won’t mention it in public) is this. I failed to recognize (instantly, that is) the legend that is William Shatner. Shatner played the Big Giant Head, in case you haven’t seen 3rd Rock. My excuse? Well, I never used to be much of a Star Trek fan when it was first shown. There! Do you think I’ll get away with it, or have I just qualified for a Gold Star in Lack of Cultural Awareness? 🙂
