Lincoln Stonehenge will baffle future archaeologists

What we thought was just ordinary innocent building work in our local area has turned out to be an apparent attempt to fool future archaeologists. Imagine in a few hundred years when the landscape may look very different. The little boxy houses that are planned may be gone and forgotten. But as concrete lives forever, all that will remain will be this scene above (minus all the heavy plant, of course). We have named it

Concrete-henge!

And since it is roughly aligned with the setting sun just after the Spring equinox, the Tony Robinsons and co. of the future will have lots of fun speculating about arcane rituals,. And of course, looking for temples. All I can says is, good luck to them 🙂
